Review of the Norfolk Broads boat Magic Gem

Positives: Magic Gem is a forward-drive cruiser, offering a steering experience similar to driving a car, making it perfect for first-time boaters. The saloon area features a sliding sunroof, and an external door leads to a forward well with seating. With fewer openings than a sliding canopy cruiser, Magic Gem is an excellent choice for early and late-season cruising. Accommodation includes two permanently made-up double cabins and a converting settee double in the saloon.

Negatives: A boat without bow thrusters. It's one of Richardson's older boats, so fittings won't be modern though should be adequate. Be aware that your view over the reed-fringed banks on forward drive cruisers is limited.
