Review of the Norfolk Broads boat Brinks Jazz
Boat Name Brinks Jazz
Boatyard Barnes Brinkcraft
Sleeps 2
Positives: A popular choice for those seeking a budget-friendly, no-frills option, *Brinks Jazz* is a compact, practical cruiser that’s perfect for beginners. Well-equipped and easy to handle, it features a bright, airy saloon with seating that converts into a double bed.
There's a separate toilet and shower, plus a flexible cabin with bunk beds that can be converted into a double—ideal for two adults and two children.
She is a dual-steer boat, quite rare for smaller cruisers, offering a high-level helm with excellent views, together with a second cosy driving position in the saloon.
Negatives: Becoming a little dated now. The view backwards from the internal steering position is poor as the boat is slightly narrower at the front than the middle, making it difficult to see directly behind. The side deck disappears halfway down, and the steps down to the cabin from the rear entrance are steep and narrow, so this boat is not recommended for those who have mobility problems. There are no bow thrusters.
Brinks Jazz Dimensions: 8.99m x 3.35m (29ft 6in x 11ft).
