Review of the Norfolk Broads boat Brinks Sonnet
Boat Name Brinks Sonnet
Boatyard Barnes Brinkcraft
Sleeps 4
Positives: This comfortable mid-range cruiser is easy to handle and perfectly suited for couples. It features a bright and airy open-plan galley and saloon, along with a separate walk-round double berth in the aft cabin and a converting double forward. A thermostratically controlled shower is provided. Designed with convenience in mind, it offers single-level living throughout and extra-wide side decks for easy access.
The saloon benefits from a split sliding canopy, allowing open-air cruising. Bow thrusters are installed to assist with mooring.
Negatives: A cruiser starting to feel its age in terms of fixtures and fittings, though still perfectly serviceable. Four people on board would be a bit of a squeeze. Be aware that your side view over the reed-fringed banks on forward drive cruisers is limited.
Brinks Sonnet Dimensions: 9.45m x 3.66m (31ft x 12ft).
