Review of the Norfolk Broads boat San Domingo
Boat Name San Domingo
Boatyard Richardsons Boats
Sleeps 4
Positives: Another classic cruiser from Richardsons, this boat is well-suited for out-of-season cruising. It offers accommodation for up to five people, with two double berths, one formed from a convertible settee in the saloon, and an additional single berth in the rear cabin. As a forward-drive cruiser, it provides excellent all-round visibility from the helm. A sliding sunroof over the saloon and steering position adds to the open-air experience. At the bow, a front well with seating offers the perfect spot for fishing or simply relaxing as the scenery drifts by.
Negatives: An older boat, starting to feel its age. No walk-around beds. The saloon could become overly hot in the high summer. The boat doesn't have a sliding wheelhouse, only a sunroof, similar to what you might find in a car. Be aware that your side view over the reed-fringed banks on forward drive cruisers is limited. This is the trade-off for more headroom at bridges across the Broads.
San Domingo dimensions: 9.14m x 3.66m (30ft x 12ft).
