Review of the Norfolk Broads boat Siesta
Boat Name Siesta
Boatyard Richardsons Boats
Sleeps 3
Positives: Siesta is a modern sedan-style cruiser featuring a raised midships steering position. Its spacious open aft cockpit is perfect for fishing, while the elevated saloon offers excellent visibility and includes an opening sunroof for added ventilation. The forward cabin houses a cosy, permanently made-up double bed with en-suite facilities. Thanks to their fully enclosed design and reduced draughts, sedan cruisers like Siesta are especially popular for out-of-season cruising.
Negatives: This boat sits quite high in the water at 8ft 6in, which may mean you need to wait until low tide at certain bridges on the Broads to pass under. These sedan style boats, though well suited to Spring and Autumn breaks due to their fully enclosed living accommodation, can feel a little claustrophobic in warm weather as they do not offer open air cruising.
Siesta dimensions: 9.00m x 3.20m (29ft x 10ft 6in)
