Review of the Norfolk Broads boat Silver Haze
Boat Name Silver Haze
Boatyard Richardsons Boats
Sleeps 3
Positives: Silver Haze is a dual-steer cruiser, offering the flexibility to helm from inside during poor weather or from the upper deck to enjoy panoramic views. Accommodation includes a permanently made-up double bed in the aft cabin and a convertible settee berth in the saloon, making it a great option for a small family. There's 240 volt electricity, a microwave and a vacuum cleaner on board. At the front of the boat, doors open onto a seated well, ideal for fishing, relaxing, or wildlife watching. Bow thrusters make manoeuvring and mooring easier, especially in tight spots.
Negatives: The view backwards from the internal steering position is poor as the boat is slightly narrower at the front than the middle, making it difficult to see directly behind. The side deck disappears halfway down, and the steps down to the cabin from the rear entrance are steep and narrow, so this boat is not recommended for those who have mobility problems.
Silver Haze dimensions: 8.90m x 3.40m (29ft x 11ft)
